Allergen information

Last updated: 29 July 2026

Please tell me about any allergies before you order. If you or whoever is eating the cake has a serious allergy, let me know when you send your request and I'll be honest with you about whether I can make it safely.

What's in my cakes

Every cake I make contains gluten, eggs and milk (dairy). Some flavours contain additional allergens, as set out below. I don't currently offer gluten-free cakes.

Frostings and fillings

Your choice of frosting and filling can add allergens. In particular, anything made with chocolate or white chocolate may contain soya, and cream cheese, mascarpone and buttercream all contain milk. If you need the exact ingredients for a specific combination, just ask and I'll check the packaging of everything I use for your cake.

My kitchen

All my cakes are prepared in a home kitchen that handles gluten, wheat, milk, eggs, soya, peanuts, tree nuts and sesame. I do everything I can to avoid cross-contamination, but I can't guarantee any product is completely free from allergens. Please let me know of any allergies before placing your order.

The 14 allergens

UK law recognises 14 allergens that must be declared: celery, cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats), crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulphur dioxide/sulphites.
