Antione's Cakery is a small home baking business based in Hackney, East London. This notice explains what I do with your information when you send me an order request. I'll keep it short and honest.
What I collect
When you send an order request through this website, I collect:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- the order details you give me (flavours, size, date needed, your message and design notes, and any allergy or dietary information you tell me);
- any reference photo you choose to upload.
What I use it for
I use your information only to deal with your order and to contact you about it: confirming the design and price, arranging collection or delivery, and answering any questions. I don't send marketing emails, and I don't sell or share your information with anyone else, except where I have to by law.
Where it's stored
Your order is emailed to me and stored in my order system, which uses Netlify (the company that hosts this website) and a private Google Sheet that only I can see. A copy of your order is also emailed to you for your records.
How long I keep it
I keep order information for 2 years, so I can handle repeat orders and any questions about a cake I've made for you. After that I delete it.
Your rights
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just get in touch and I'll sort it out. If you're ever unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
